The trail is a nice combination of technical rock trail, washes, and climbs. There is a large network of trails to make the ride longer or shorter depending upon your needs. These trails cross over Trail 100 which allows for lots of other options.
From the middle of Phoenx on AZ-51, exit the highway at Shea Blvd and head east; turn right (south) on 40th street; 40th Street deadends into the parking lot and trailhead.
